This blog post title is the only place you'll ever see Auburn before Alabama! I had the to opportunity to spend time with family down in Auburn this past weekend. As most of you know, I never turn down an opportunity to venture out of town! Even if it's only about an hour away from home!
Put down your chips and open up your laptop, because you're about to order some amazing snacks from Graze.com! A few months ago I ordered a trial box and absolutely loved the snacks I was sent! Graze has 100+ snacks and countless snack combinations for you! My box had Super Kale & Edamame, Booster Seeds, Zesty Lime and Red Pepper Salsa with wholemeal pita chips, and White Chocolate dip and Wild Blueberry toasts. Naturally I devoured the white chocolate dip and blueberry toasts first! The dip was velvety perfection- a far cry from the gritty, overly-sweet white chocolate that I'm use to.
And of course I had to dig into the salsa and pita chips afterwards. I'm a chips and salsa girl through and through, so this fun take on a snacking classic was delicious! The salsa packed a punch with its flavor and it was so nice to have a think, pita chip to dip with. But the one snack I obviously need to order EVERY. SINGLE. TIME, is the Super Kale and Edamame. I was hesitant when I opened my box and saw the snack pack, but once I pulled back the label and took a few bites, it was all over! If you think you won't like kale chips and edamame, think again! I already have a love for kale but had never had edamame before. After a few nibbles of the perfectly seasoned, crunchy soybeans (edamame = boiled soybeans) I decided they weren't so scary after all! They're obviously a huge hit with other Grazers because they're currently out of stock on the company's website. :(
If you're anything like me and are on the hunt for deliciously healthy snacks, look no further! Graze gets five stars from me! They have everything from sweet to savory, crunchy to chewy, and even fun foods like miso soup and popcorn! If you're not into the whole "monthly subscription box" thing, you can still shop for snacks in the GrazeShop.
If my photos and snacking details haven't enticed you enough, feel free to use my code [MARGOS32P] at checkout if you're wanting to try it for the first time. When you sign up using my code you'll receive a FREE 4 snack sample box (like the pictures above)!

bedroom
The countdown is on! I'm moving to my new place at the beginning of August and I'm so excited!! Having lived in my own apartment since Sophomore year of college, it was awkward moving back into my childhood bedroom. I've been living out of boxes and suitcases for the past two years, but in less than a month I'll be in my own space. My new apartment isn't as fancy as my previous ones -- I had stainless steel appliances at my first place, a private balcony on the top floor of my second place, and both were less than a mile from campus. My new place is still within walking distance to campus, but it's been pre-loved by others since the 90's. It's actually more spacious than my last place and once again, your girl snagged a top floor unit!
Living Room
I'm still trying to figure out exactly the style I'm going for in my new place. I'm thinking clean colors and lines with a few eccentric pieces to bring the room some life! And since I only have one window in the living room and no balcony, I plan to make the area as bright as possible by using light grays and whites.
But the most exciting, yet scariest aspect of my new place is that it's a completely blank canvas for me to work with! No furnished apartment over here! I'm starting from scratch which means I have to buy SO. MUCH. FURNITURE. No one told me how expensive furniture is! Luckily, I caught the Fourth of July sales going on this past weekend and snagged this couch and the comfiest mattress set I've ever laid on. I'm still in search of bar stools, bedroom furniture (bed, dresser, chest of drawers), and a few knick knacks to liven up the place, but of course those things come with time.
bookcase styling
I've been scouring Pinterest multiples times a day to help me think of ways to style my new home. I love the idea of using bookcases in both the living and bedrooms. Of course they're practical, but they're also fun to style! I think I'm most excited about color-coding my book collection!
bar cart styling
And how cute is this bar cart? It's smaller than mosts but still holds everything! I'm definitely going to need one of these for those days that graduate school hits me hard.
There's something about this bedroom that I love but I can't quite put my finger on it. It's so simple yet so well-put together. I've never thought to use black accent pieces like lamps or a duvet cover, but this room has me re-thinking that! Plus, the artwork above the headboard is the perfect finishing touch.
DIY TV Console
And to keep costs down, I decided to DIY a tv console. I have an old dresser that needs a little sprucing up, so I plan to follow along with this tutorial to get it squared away over the next few weekends.
Gallery Wall
Continuing with DIY projects, creating a gallery wall is a must! I have so many little notes, prints, and photos from my previous travels that I plan to frame and hang to make the space feel a little more like home.
This will be a lengthy and awesome project I'll be working on over the next several months, so I'll be sure to give updates here on the blog! Have a great day!
