Before I began blogging, I was just reading blogs. I mean, I still read them now, everyday, but I never thought I would or could blog. I like to think of blogs as live journals. Of course they share their style, travels, and happiness with us, but some also open up about their personal hardships, and life struggles.
When I started to blog, I just wanted to highlight my cupcake baking and time I spent with friends. I'm not consumed by how many views this blog receives, sponsorships, or anything else. I get the chance to open up and talk about what interests me. It keeps me occupied and allows my creative juices to keep flowing.
There are a handful of blogs I read on a daily basis and I want to share them with you all! It amazes me how each of these bloggers is just a regular person, freely sharing their life with others.
Below are the blogs I read on a daily basis.
Cupcakes & Cashmere was the first blog I started reading. I remember, I was searching for a cupcake recipe when I stumbled upon it in the Google search box. I clicked on it and and I haven't looked back since. Emily's style, home decor and recipes are so easy yet so unique. I love everything about this California livin' blog!
The HONEYBEE by Andee Layne is also a California livin' blog. Andee effortlessly opens up her Orange County life to her readers. Not only does she have great style and amazing travels, but she highlights clean eating. Be sure to check it out!
I ended up on Hey Natalie Jean after scrolling through the blog roll from The Day Book. Natalie's blog is probably one of the easiest reads. She's based in New York and writes about her family and life struggles and successes so effortlessly. Let's not forget the many pictures of her life in New York. It gives such an authentic view of what it's like to live there.
Recent blogs I stumbled upon that I plan incorporating into my everyday reading. (Click the blog title image)
I hope you all get a chance to check out the blogs I read on the regular. They're all great and each hit on something different. Have some blogs you'd like me to check out? Write them in the comment section! Have a great day! Stop by tomorrow as I blog about some cake making adventures.
