Just want to wrap up my Palm Springs, CA trip with you all on the blog today! Since I've started to travel more, I definitely plan on sharing in-depth reviews about my lodging accommodations, restaurants, and attractions. Today I want to talk about my quick stay at a Palm Springs hotspot--The Saguaro.
Cost will always be a huge factor for me when it comes to finding a hotel room during my travels. I try my hardest to spend money wisely and there's just no way I can afford more of the chic hotel accommodations at this point in life. With that said, I would not have been able to stay at The Saguaro during the New Year festivities if I had not found a Groupon deal for it! I snagged my room for a few cents under $140+hotel incidentals fee+resort fee. After all fees combined, my one night totaled out to be just under $170 compared to the then cost of $225+.
I checked-in to my room around 11:30pm after a full day in Los Angeles and was so happy to end up in a nice, spacious, clean room! The pictures above are from the morning I check-out. I promise my bed was made when I arrived! Whenever I arrive at my lodging accommodation I give the space a little walk through just to make sure everything is clean and whatever is promised on the property's site to be in the room is actually there.
I had the Mountain View King room and this was the view I woke up to!
Besides the price, the reputation of The Saguaro caught my eye. It's probably by far the most recognizable hotel in the area du Reading other blogs, scrolling through my Instagram feed, or even clicking around on Pinterest, I always saw pictures of this place. So when I decided to head out to the area I knew I had to someway, somehow stay here even if it was for just one night!
The Saguaro also has great amenities. It was too cold to take a dip in the pool and I was far to exhausted to get a work out in, but I did wake up the next morning to grab breakfast at El Jefe. El Jefe is right next to the concierge desk and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I chose a classic breakfast and was highly impressed. I never really eat butter on my toast but I ate ALL of the butter this time. It was so whipped and creamy! I highly recommend grabbing breakfast during your stay! You won't regret it.
All in all, my night at The Saguaro was wonderful. From the moment I checked in to the time I checked out, I had an amazing experience. Be sure to check out the property's website if you're thinking about spending time out there!
