Mine & Steeler's attempt at a #sundayselfie
Picked up this plate in Target last weekend. How could I not?!
Last Friday night was much needed. FYI, the deep dish pizza was not what I expected it to be...skip it.
Figured I'd need to pick up a more appropriate book to help me study for my upcoming grad entrance exam.
Oddly, I've always wanted either a banjo or ukelele. The ukelele was priced more appropriately for me. :)
Putting together a super sexy red velvet cake last night. (Recipe and photos will be up this week!)
After this past week I work, I took full advantage of this weekend. I was in the bed asleep before 10:00 Friday night because I was so worn out! I woke up refreshed and energized on Saturday morning and thoroughly took advantage of the day. I started by watching some soccer early, early (6:00 am to be exact) that morning before finishing up some spreadsheets for work. Afterwards, I ran some errands and picked up a pair of Converse (white, of course) on sale before heading back home. And today at church...gosh it was amazing. I've mentioned on here before about my spiritual journey and I know for a fact that God and The Holy Spirit were working in me today. The worship team closed with one of my absolute favorite songs ever--You Never Fail by Hillsong. It was just an amazing experience today.
Outside of my relaxing and rejuvenating weekend, my Labor Day weekend order from ASOS arrived and I can't wait to show you how I plan to style my purchases. I'll also be posting more!! That means more work style and recipe posts, more travel posts (hopefully), and more lifestyle posts for you all to enjoy. Plus I'll be updating the blog with a new look soon. And hopefully I'll be applying for my passport within the next few weeks, so I'll keep you all updated on that process as well as my elaborate trip planning! And let's not forget my trek to applying to graduate schools! So much is coming for All Cake Up!!! Thank you ALL so much for being such loyal readers! Be sure to leave comments so we can interact!
I hope everyone has an amazing and productive week!
