Hello loves! As promised, here's the last bit of my Southern California trip! Today I'm talking about where I stayed and played while in San Diego. Plus, I've got a little something I need your help with towards the end of the post!
I flew out of Burbank early Sunday morning headed to San Diego. It was funny and kind of cool seeing so many people wearing their NFL team jerseys in the airport, because I was headed to San Diego just for that-- a football game!
It's clearly obvious as to why I try my hardest to buy the window seat! So many great views while flying into San Diego. The bridge in this photo leads to Balboa Park!
After a three hour delay in Phoenix, Arizona, I finally touched down in San Diego Sunday night. *Had to take the layover in Phoenix because it was the cheaper route!
It wasn't too late, but I was exhausted from traveling all day so I decided to freshen up and call it a night! Whimsical pajamas make traveling more fun! I picked up this pair from Target prior to my trip. And for dinner, it only seemed appropriate to match my meal with my pajamas, right?!
*Fun tip: I use Eat24.com whenever I get into my hotel late since I don't like driving around a new area in the dark. It gives you a list of restaurants that offer delivery/pick-up in the area. Plus, they send you coupon codes! WIN!
This was my view Monday morning! I stayed at The Lafayette Hotel, Swim Club & Bungalows while in San Diego. I purposely picked this hotel because of it's unique, vintage style and this poolside view! I mentioned earlier that I need all of my readers' help with something fun. I submitted the picture above in the hotel's photo contest. The most votes helps decide who the winner is! Please feel free to vote/help me rally votes by clicking here and voting as often as you can!!
Here's a panoramic view of the hotel. It was a little cloudy that morning, but by that afternoon the sun was out and everyone was enjoying the afternoon.
This is the inside of the lobby area of the hotel. Loving the vintage, mix-match style of the furniture!
I had breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, Hope 46, before heading out in the city. I chose the stuffed French Toast (with the almond cream cheese on the side lol) and it was delicious and filling! They have a great menu with lots of American cuisine options. I'm pretty sure if I would've ordered anything else, it would have been just as good!
The staff at The Lafayette is so kind and helpful! They're super easy to talk to and always available for help!
