Hope you enjoyed Part 1 of this travel post! With this being my first trip to New York City, I opted to do the more touristy things like walking the Brooklyn Bridge and visiting Times Square. Mid-week though, things really started to pick up!

Long time coming for this post but happy to finally get around to sharing it! I've always wanted to go to New York, but the timing was never right and my finances wouldn't allow it. Well, that all changed when I was taking a "study break" a week before finals. I do this thing where I plan trips that I know I can't take quite yet. Seriously-- I'll price out flights, lodging, food, entertainment, transportation, everything! Scrolling through airline websites I found a round-trip ticket to New York for a little over $200! With no hesitation, I booked it!
Happy Friday loves! I finally made use of my iMovie app and put together this quick little mashup from some of my time in New York a few weeks ago. It's just a quick glimpse into what I did while I was there for a week.
I plan on doing a financial break down of my trip as well as a more "Where To..." posts highlighting some spots in the city. I hope you all have a great upcoming Memorial Day weekend! I'm officially headed to my internship next week and will be away from home working for the next two and a half months, so wish me luck! xo, Margo |
